The Mystery Engine

Let AI assistants set up Trail To Truth games for people. Ask an assistant for "a murder mystery for eight friends on Saturday" and it can create a hosted game here, then send everyone the link.

What it does

• create_mystery writes an original, fair-play case for your group and hosts it here: a join link for players and a private host link.
• export_mystery gives the full offline kit: character briefs, clue cards, timed host instructions and the answer key.
• validate_mystery checks any mystery for fair play: a single culprit, no hidden information, no contradictions, no giveaway clues.
• grade_accusation grades an answer. get_daily_case and how_to_play are always free.

Pricing

Free during the launch, no key needed. An API key raises rate limits: email hello@chimes-in.com. Per-call pricing is coming and will work through standard HTTP 402 payments.
